Witch the Showdown is a unique deck-building game where both fast reflexes and clever strategy are key to winning.
Okay, so I just heard about this cool new game coming to PS5 in 2027. It’s got this awesome anime look, and it’s a deck builder, but with a really unique twist – you’re all about perfectly timed parries. Apparently, it’s basically a series of tough boss fights where nailing those parries is key to winning. Sounds intense!
Here’s what the press release says:
In Witch the Showdown, a new card game from Citales Games and Perp Games, skillful timing is key. This single-player game, set in a fantastical near-future, focuses on precise actions and rewards players who can master its combat system.
Although the game is known for being challenging, the description promises it’s enjoyable for players of all skill levels, from beginners to experts.
The game revolves around creating a powerful set of enhancements, then activating them by successfully parrying enemy attacks. It’s similar to a blend of the combat in Sekiro and the deck-building strategy of Slay the Spire.
You can now download a demo on Steam to experience the game before it officially launches next year. However, a demo for PlayStation consoles isn’t available at this time.
