Taylor Lautner and Tay Lautner are one step closer to expanding their pack.

The former Twilight star and his wife, who shared in March that they are expecting a baby, have announced they are having a child.

On June 7th, Taylor and her partner, Tay, excitedly looked at a laptop to discover some family news. When they finally saw the update, they both screamed with joy as pink letters appeared on the screen announcing, “GIRL!”

Overwhelmed with feeling, Tay burst into tears and buried her face in her hands. Her husband comforted her with a hug and a gentle kiss on the forehead.

As the couple captioned the sweet moment, “Our little secret is now yours.”

Actor Kevin Hart announced on March 26th that he and his wife, Tay (born Taylor Dome), are expecting their first child. He shared the news on Instagram with photos of the couple and their baby’s sonogram.

Referencing the fact that both parents share the name Taylor, the 34-year-old joked, “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?”

That makes three! Tay, who married Taylor in 2022, recently shared details about their journey to becoming parents.

Tay shared with TopMob News on June 4th that her husband has been a huge support to her. She explained he’s been incredibly helpful, taking care of everything from errands to bringing her ice water constantly – ‘about 27 times a day,’ she joked.

He’s been a tremendous help,” she said. “It’s wonderful to go through this experience with someone you love.”

And that came as no surprise to the 29-year-old.  

She shared that she married him with the expectation he’d be an amazing father, and she’s thrilled to now see him becoming one.

It’s wonderful to see him with children,” she said. “He’s naturally kind and thoughtful, and I’m really happy to watch him be a great father. I have a feeling he’ll be amazing at it.

Taylor Lautner and his wife, Taylor Lautner (formerly Taylor Dome), publicly announced their relationship on Halloween. The Twilight actor shared a photo of them dressed as characters from Space Jam.

Taylor was introduced to the nurse through his sister, Makena Moore. She told him, “I think I’ve found the woman you’re going to marry – you have to meet her!” Taylor told People magazine that they met soon after, and it was the beginning of their relationship.

Last year, Taylor shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show how his sibling was instrumental in bringing him and his partner together.

You know, I’m a big fan of casual get-togethers, and game nights are my absolute favorite! A friend of mine actually suggested I host one, and she said she’d bring someone along – a friend named Tay. She wanted it to be super relaxed, just a natural meeting of friends, and honestly, we all clicked immediately. It was a really lovely way to meet someone new!

 

I was so thrilled to see that the Valentine’s Day actor announced his engagement on Instagram! He shared the news with a really sweet caption – he said, “And just like that, all of my wishes came true.” It’s just so lovely!

I was so excited to see Taylor share photos from the proposal! One shot perfectly captured the raw emotion – Tay was completely stunned, hands over her mouth, while Taylor was down on one knee. The other photo was just incredibly sweet; you could really feel the connection between them as Tay lovingly cupped Taylor’s face in her hands. It was a beautiful, intimate moment.

“My absolute best friend,” Tay wrote on her Instagram. “I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU.”

The following year, Taylor appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and revealed his fiancée would be changing her last name to match his. He jokingly told Kelly Clarkson, “We already have one name in common, so we’re going to be practically the same person!”

When participating in a social media trend where people share their childhood crushes and current partners, Tay jokingly revealed she was firmly on Team Edward in the classic Twilight debate between Edward and Jacob.

Taylor Lautner shared an Instagram video contrasting photos of Robert Pattinson as the vampire Edward Cullen with a picture of himself as the werewolf Jacob Black. The caption read, “I think it’s time to come clean,” and Lautner jokingly commented, “‘Bout time I won something.”

Taylor hasn’t met Robert Pattinson yet, despite having the opportunity on a flight. She told TopMob News that she sat next to him but didn’t say hello. Taylor recounted that Pattinson once mentioned sitting next to someone on a plane and it was her, while visiting the set of her show, ‘Cuckoo’ in London. Although she didn’t approach him, Taylor said she would have enjoyed the chance meeting. She explained to TopMob News that she didn’t introduce herself because it would have been awkward to explain that she was ‘Taylor’s girlfriend that no one knows about yet.’

Before her wedding, Taylor celebrated with a bachelorette party in Miami, Florida, joined by friends like Jason Kennedy, formerly of TopMob, and Ben Soffer, the founder of Spritz Society.

Taylor described a fantastic weekend that included jet skiing, a dinner at the Gekko steakhouse, and courtside seats at a Miami Heat game. In an Instagram Story posted on October 25th, she called it “the most incredible weekend I could have imagined.”

Earlier in the month, Taylor hosted a lovely bridal shower with a floral theme. She shared photos on Instagram, writing, “I can’t wait to marry you @taylorlautner!”

Okay, can you even BELIEVE it?! One day after their engagement anniversary, they finally got married! It happened at Epoch Estate Wines in Paso Robles, California, and it was seriously magical. Tay looked like an actual princess in this incredible white tulle gown with floral details and the longest veil ever! And the groom? Classic and handsome in a tux, of course. She told Vogue it felt like a fairytale, and honestly, I’m not surprised! She said she was completely blown away by how beautiful everything was, and she kept looking around in awe during the ceremony. Can you imagine?! She even said she couldn’t believe they were actually getting married when they exchanged rings – after dreaming about it for so long! She said it was beyond perfect, and honestly, knowing them, it totally was. I’m still crying just thinking about it!

After getting married on November 11th, the couple immediately flew to Mexico for a relaxing and upscale honeymoon at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita in Riviera Nayarit.

Taylor and Tay shared photos from their romantic trip with TopMob News, including a picture of them having dinner on the beach at sunset and another of Taylor enjoying a coconut drink without a shirt on.

Tay and her husband celebrated their five-year anniversary on January 23th. Tay marked the special day with a sweet Instagram post, sharing a photo of her husband lifting her and calling him her “favorite human.”
