TerraTech Legion, a new action roguelike game, is coming to Xbox Series and PC on April 30th. You’ll be able to find it on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, and it will also be included with Xbox Game Pass. Publisher Mythwright and developer Payload Studios made the announcement.

About
Okay, so I’m building this crazy battle vehicle – basically, a tank on steroids – and then unleashing it on a ton of robots! It’s a ‘bullet heaven’ style game, which means tons of action and projectiles flying everywhere. The cool part is I get to design the vehicle block by block, making it super powerful to ram into enemies and just blast everything with endless ammo. This AI controlling the robots is seriously unhinged, so it’s a non-stop fight for survival!
The galaxy is facing a massive threat from Legion, an army of AI robots that are destroying planets and turning everything into technology. You play as a skilled and fearless mechanic tasked with stopping them. You’ll need to build the perfect vehicle for each planet, then destroy all of Legion’s robots, bases, and factories before they completely transform the land into a terrifying, machine-organic wasteland. Your mission is to dismantle everything and save these worlds from total corruption.
Modular Vehicle Building
Create your own unique machines using various parts like wheels, boosters, chainsaws, and lasers. These parts control how your creation moves and battles. As you play, you’ll unlock more parts to build even stronger and more effective machines.
Bullet Heaven Survival
Fight through endless waves of dangerous robots and search the map for Legion bases to destroy. Be careful though – powerful boss robots guard these bases! Take them down to face the main enemy leader and free each planet from the Legion’s control.
Furious Mechanical Combat
The way vehicles handle is based on realistic physics, letting you smash through enemies at incredibly high speeds. You can destroy everything in your path – from enemy robots to large buildings – to eliminate the Legion AI and cleanse the map.
Upgrade, Augment, Advance
- Rebuild, repair and augment your Tech at mobile Upgrade Pods.
- Discover new blocks in reward crates from destroyed enemies and Legion outposts.
- Unlock specialized TerraTech Corporations with different build strategies: go for power and bulk with GeoCorp, keep it fast and nimble with Venture, or shock and awe with advanced weaponry from Hawkeye Systems.
- Explore a wide range of hazardous environments with unique terrain challenges, boss enemies and rewards.
- Upgrade your core components in between missions to up your game and bring the fury on each new run.
