The trailer for Ice Age: Boiling Point opens with a comical scene: Scrat, his tail ablaze, is launched into the air while desperately chasing his ever-unattainable acorn.
Manny, Ellie, Sid, Diego, Buck, Crash, and Eddie are right behind him, looking scared. Pieces of ice are flying everywhere, causing Sid to accidentally swallow a bee and crash into Diego. Buck, however, is thrilled and shouts with excitement despite the chaos.
Ellie accidentally burned some of her fur with a hot rock. Buck then surprisingly cooked a grub over her head to warm her up, and shortly after, Crash and Eddie were struck by falling rocks.
The teaser trailer concludes with Baby Scrat – first seen in the Disney+ series Ice Age: Scrat Tales – soaring away from the volcano, clutching a miniature acorn like a pacifier.
