Welcome to The Neighbourhood, a place where the saying ‘Keep Your Enemies Close’ is also the street name!
Six families are competing to be the most popular on their street, and their success depends on how well they get along with the new people who’ve moved in. But with a prize of £250,000 at stake, they’ll have to do more than just be friendly – they’ll likely need to be a little sneaky to win.
Before the show began, Ed Daggett, a developer at Lifted Entertainment, explained that they intentionally cast people who weren’t already famous, wanting to showcase genuine communities across Britain.
He explained that the show features genuine people, aiming for a sense of authenticity and relatability. They want viewers to connect with the characters and think, ‘These people are just like us – like our neighbors.’ The goal is to keep the show grounded and realistic.
The new series, hosted by Graham Norton, takes place in a charming village in Derbyshire, featuring a beautiful lake, a cozy café, and a traditional pub.
Over the course of 11 episodes, viewers will see families lose their homes, friendships strained, and relationships fall apart as contestants compete to win.
Who will be participating in the first season of The Neighbourhood? Here’s a complete guide to everything you need to know.
The Neighbourhood official 2026 line-up: Confirmed households and contestants
The game features six distinct houses, each offering a unique look into different lifestyles, cultures, and ways of living.
This includes blended families, multi-generational families, friendship groups and uni students.
This series, we meet:
- The Pescuds
- The Lozman-Sturrocks
- The Uni Boys
- The Scouse Haus
- The Kandolas
- The Bradons
The Pescuds

Members:
- Paul, 51, Drug & Alcohol Service Manager
- Wendy, 55, Foster Carer
- Grace, 18, Student
- Harrison, 25, Bakery Retail Assistant
From: Cambridgeshire
Paul and Wendy are joined by their children Grace and Harrison for their time in The Neighbourhood.
If we win, Paul and I agreed to split the prize money right down the middle. I’m really hoping this will finally let me recover properly from my knee replacement – maybe somewhere warm and sunny like the Caribbean – before we finally get to do some travelling together. It’s been a dream of ours for ages!
Paul and I always talked about travelling through Europe – it would be incredible, we thought. A big reason I’m working hard is to give my kids a good start, because it’s really difficult for young people these days.
Grace is dreaming of travel, and Harrison is thinking about starting a family. He’s hoping to use the money for a new car, and maybe even an engagement ring for his girlfriend.
The Lozman-Sturrocks

Members:
- Katie, 29, Hairdresser
- Jordan, 34, Oil Rig Worker
- Christine, 72, Retired Waitress
- Dave, 67, Retired Production Manager for a Lighting Company
From: Darlington
Okay, so the Lozman-Sturrocks are a really sweet family. It’s a multi-generational thing – Christine and Dave are married, and their son Jordan is also married to Katie. It’s one of those setups where everyone lives together, which always makes for interesting family dynamics – you know, like you see in the movies!
Christine and Dave signed up for a reality show hoping to represent people their age and enjoy more quality time with their family.
Despite being a team, they disagree on how they’d use the £250,000 prize if they win.
While Dave would be happy with new vinyl records, Christine intends to use it to party.
She exclaimed that she’d love to travel while he stayed home listening to music. She imagined herself covered in glitter in Ibiza, adding that a little sparkle can make anyone look younger – age is just a number when you’re having fun!
The Uni Boys

Members:
- Hadi, 23, Business Student
- Kevin, 21, Media Student
- Fahad, 21, Journalism Student
- DJ, 21, Politics Student
From: Nottingham
These four students became close friends when they first met at Nottingham Trent University and now live together as housemates.
Fahad was the driving force behind the group’s decision to participate in the show. He assembled the team and is confident he chose the best people to compete.
The four friends all enjoy football and are naturally competitive, but they plan to use any winnings to build a secure future, pay off student loans, and support their families.
Fahad shared that if they won the prize money, he and his partner could finally buy a house and start focusing on their own growth. He explained that when he first arrived in the country, he needed something to occupy his time after school and volunteering at charity events helped him feel like he belonged. If he won the £250,000, he’d like to donate to the charity that supported him, as a way of giving back to the community.
Kevin wants to use the money to help his mom pay her mortgage, and DJ plans to invest it in his music.
Hadi said that if he won the money, he would first support his family, and then use it to fund his life as an international student in the UK.
I arrived alone, not knowing anyone. But we have a chance to build something special with The Uni Boys – to really put ourselves on the map and show everyone what we’re all about.
The Kandolas and Samra

Members:
- Sunita, 51, Drug & Alcohol Key Worker
- Tony, 57, Business Development Manager
- Ruben, 24, Sales Advisor
From: Bedfordshire
I recently heard about a really interesting family dynamic. It centers around Sunita, her husband Tony, and Ruben, who’s the youngest of Sunita’s three boys. They’re a blended family, so there’s a lot of history and connection there, which I think makes for great storytelling potential.
Tony playfully suggested that being in the band The Neighbourhood might finally motivate Ruben to move out of his parents’ house. He even joked that if they win any prize money, a significant portion would be used to help Ruben buy his own place.
Sunita explained that it meant a lot to her to represent her community and show that her family is a mix of different backgrounds. Together, she and her partner have six grown children and several grandchildren.
“We wanted to break away from the stigma that Asian women should be a certain way.”
Sunita describes herself as fun, honest, and outgoing, and she’s a passionate cook. To make her new house on KeepYourEnemies Close feel like home, she brought familiar comforts and a lot of her favorite kitchen items.
The Bradons

Members:
- Fay-Marie, 69, Teaching Assistant
- Nathan, 45, Sales & Trading Director
- Lukas, 37, School Head of Safeguarding
- Alicia, 29, Sales & Marketing Manager
- Zach, 17, College Student
From: Essex
The Bradon family consists of three generations living together. Fay-Marie is the head of the household, and she lives with her three adult children – Alicia, Lukas, and Nathan – along with Nathan’s son, Zach. They all live in The Neighbourhood.
You know, as a big family movie night enthusiast, I totally get what Nathan was hoping for. He basically said he wanted everyone to reconnect. With all of us running around with jobs and life in general, it’s rare we get quality time together at home, and he thought this would be a perfect chance to really bond and just be together, you know? It was about creating that cozy, intimate feeling that’s hard to come by otherwise.
Honestly, we were really hoping for a chance to spend some quality time together as a family, just bonding and having fun. Plus, let’s be real, winning that £250,000 would have been amazing for everyone – it would have made a huge difference to all of us!
If Zach wins, he’d like to use the money for a new car and to help fund his university education. Alicia and Lukas, on the other hand, are hoping to use their winnings to pay for their weddings.
Mum Fay-Marie’s dream is to have an annex built on her house.
The Scouse Haus

Members:
- Louise, 25, Barista
- Lyndsey, 25, Barista
- Rosie, 28, Barista
From: Liverpool
Louise and Lyndsey, twin sisters, currently share a home in their hometown of Liverpool with Lyndsey’s partner, Rosie.
This trio of baristas believe their tight-knit connection will work in their favour in the game.
When asked about their team’s success, Rosie said it comes down to having each other’s backs – not by always agreeing, but by being comfortable enough to offer honest feedback. They’re close enough to say, ‘Maybe that’s not the best approach,’ when needed.
If the twins win, they’d love to treat their mum to a memorable holiday. Rosie, on the other hand, is hoping the prize money would help her build a secure future.
She explained that she’s currently facing difficulties and a financial boost would significantly improve her situation.
I could save enough money for a down payment on a house, and start considering IVF to have a baby in the future. Marriage is also something I could see happening, which isn’t really an option for me right now.
The Neighbourhood starts Friday 24 April at 9pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
