Twitch streamer Jinny rescued after barricading herself in hotel room to escape stalker

Twitch streamer Jinnytty had to lock herself in her hotel room after a man who had been following her tried to force his way in.

Jinny is a well-known travel streamer with over 1.1 million followers on Twitch, where she shares videos of her travels around the world.

She’s recently been documenting her ‘Wobblethon’ – a cycling trip from Poland to Romania. While the journey has already gained some attention online, a frightening incident on May 13th took everyone by surprise.

Shortly after finishing her first stream, Jinny started a new one, and viewers could see a chair wedged under the door of her hotel room. A loud bang was also audible in the background.

As viewers joined the stream, they noticed the streamer was crying and encouraged her to be safe and call for help. Jinny was initially reluctant to contact the police, but she eventually called 211, the emergency number in Poland, to report what was happening.

Jinny reported to emergency services that a man was trying to force his way into her room in Rozdziele, a small village in Poland.

She received help when someone contacted the local authorities for her, and they arrived around 54 minutes after she first called. Another streamer, Mokrysuchar, also came to her aid, and even drove her to a different city to help her escape the situation.

Jinny says stalker who tried to break in was a fan

The scary event actually began earlier that evening, during Jinny’s first live stream. While she was in the hotel lobby, she held the door open for a man, and they briefly spoke.

As they talked, the man asked if he could talk to her again later, explaining he needed to leave and likely book a hotel room for the night.

Jinny said the same man attempted to enter her room later that night. He also called the police, falsely claiming he’d been trapped inside the hotel and couldn’t leave. Jinny explained that the man ran away before the police arrived.

While waiting for the police to arrive, Jinny explained that the man was a follower who had approached her room after her live stream. He asked if she was free to talk before attempting to open her door.

She told Mokrysuchar that she’d been hoping the man would leave, but instead he tried to force his way in. That’s why she started the livestream, and why she felt genuinely afraid for her life, thinking, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to die.’

Luckily, Jinny got away from the man without any injuries and plans to keep cycling to Romania. The event worried many viewers, and a lot of people are advising her to travel with others for safety.

Jinny has faced several frightening incidents while streaming, and unfortunately, this is just the latest. She’s previously encountered dangerous situations while traveling, including a disturbing attack in Toulouse, France in May 2025, where a man physically damaged her camera.
