
Val Kilmer‘s likeness isn’t done on the big screen yet.
Val Kilmer, who passed away recently, will appear in a new trailer for the upcoming Western film, As Deep as the Grave, thanks to artificial intelligence. He was originally cast as Father Fintan, a priest and spiritualist, in 2025, but his illness prevented him from filming before his death. His estate then approved the use of AI technology to create a posthumous performance in the movie.
Variety just shared a first look at the upcoming film, As Deep as the Grave. The trailer reveals that Val Kilmer’s performance in the movie was created using artificial intelligence. You can watch the full trailer here:
