Kim Cattrall says that finding the ideal acting role is the best feeling imaginable, even better than her famous experience with ‘Sex and the City.’

Kim shared during the Tribeca Film Festival Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal, that she finds her work incredibly rewarding, despite its challenges. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she described the feeling of success in her profession as more fulfilling than any other experience, even comparing it to a peak emotional or physical high. She expressed joy in collaborating with highly skilled and evolved individuals, realizing a long-held dream.

Kim has enjoyed the excitement of her work over the past five decades, but she’s unsure how much longer she’ll continue in the industry.

“I don’t know how many years I have left,” the 69-year-old admitted. “I want to have fun. I want to remain curious, of course.”

She finds unique fulfillment in her work. “Hearing people laugh is wonderful,” she explained. “It’s rewarding to create something that brings joy, especially now, when the world feels scary and our communities need strengthening. What better way to connect us than through shared enjoyment?”

Kim Cattrall recently spoke out, two years after a quick appearance on And Just Like That. She briefly reprised her famous role as Samantha Jones, a character she played on Sex and the City for twelve years. Although fans wanted to see more of Samantha, Kim felt the short cameo was a fitting return.

In a July 2023 interview on Today, Kim stated she’s reached her limit with the role. She explained that she doesn’t believe she’ll ever truly be finished with Samantha, adding that she becomes deeply connected to the characters she plays and feels very protective of them, just like with many roles she’s taken on throughout her career.

She added, “She gave me so much and I’m so appreciative of her.”

Following the conclusion of And Just Like That after three seasons in August, Kim responded to the news with what many considered a mysterious message.

Kim shared a photo on Instagram of a sunset over the water, captioning it with a heart and kiss emojis and the words, “It’s the end of a very long week.”
