Sherlock and Bridgerton favourites in first look at Netflix’s star-studded Agatha Christie series

Netflix has a history with murder mysteries, as seen with films like Rian Johnson’s Knives Out series, and a new installment is expected later this year.

I have to say, I’m really intrigued by this new film! They’re finally tackling an Agatha Christie story – a writer who’s practically a legend in the mystery world – and we’ve just gotten our first glimpse with a trailer and some photos. It’s about time, honestly!

Agatha Christie’s novel, originally called The Seven Dials Mystery and announced in March 2024, has been turned into a television series by Chris Chibnall, who previously ran Doctor Who. The series boasts a talented cast including Mia McKenna Bruce, Helena Bonham Carter, Martin Freeman, Corey Mylchreest, Ed Bluemel, and Nabhaan Rizwan.

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming three-part show, giving viewers a first look at the main character and hinting at a thrilling mystery. The show is scheduled to premiere on January 15, 2026.
