Season 4 of the HBO drama is adding some French talent to its cast. Vincent Cassel, Corentin Fila, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz will all appear in the new season.
The French actors are joining a cast that already features several well-known Hollywood stars, including Sandra Bernhard, Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, and AJ Michalka.
Having filmed in beautiful locations like Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, the production is adding three French actors to the cast. While we don’t yet know their specific roles or the story details, they will likely play local hotel staff who interact with the vacationing characters already announced.
Vincent Cassel is famous for his work in French films like La Haine, Irréversible, and Mesrine. He’s also recognizable to American audiences for his roles in films such as Ocean’s Thirteen and Black Swan.
Fila has acted in the French film Being 17 and the Prime Video series Escort Boys. Tereszkiewicz has appeared in the French-Italian film Forever Young and the Italian western Heads or Tails?.
The White Lotus Season 4 Heads to France
Nestled in Saint-Tropez, France, this stunning 19th-century castle has been beautifully transformed into a luxurious hotel. Surrounded by 32 acres of picturesque parasol pines, cypress trees, and fragrant jasmine, it’s a premier destination within the renowned five-star Airelles Collection.
Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus, has shared that for the show’s fourth season, he’s hoping to move away from the dramatic, intense style of the previous seasons, though he still plans to include plenty of suspense and death at the White Lotus hotels.
There’s talk that the upcoming season of The White Lotus will feature the Cannes Film Festival. This makes sense because the festival happens in the same location and around the same time the new season is being filmed. Production is scheduled to start in April.
Fresh off its successful third season, The White Lotus received a leading six Emmy nominations. However, despite the recognition, the show didn’t win any awards this year.
You can currently watch Seasons 1 through 3 of The White Lotus on HBO Max. There’s no confirmed release date for Season 4 yet.
