Fans have been eagerly awaiting the full release of Kiln after the Open Beta, and Double Fine just released a new trailer highlighting the game’s distinctive art style and promising gameplay.
You play as a spirit living inside a clay pot, and you can create more pots to move into. Why? Because your friends are doing the same! You’ll then battle each other in teams of four, using special abilities and smashing pots along the way. Customizing your pot is a big part of the game, and looking good is just as important as winning against your opponents.
The latest trailer suggests the game’s ghosts enjoy a good time. Its unusual story is perfectly complemented by a visually appealing and unique art style.
Still deciding if you want to check this game out? Here’s everything you need to know. It comes out on April 23rd for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, and will also be available through Game Pass. The developers at Double Fine plan to add new maps and other content after launch, so keep an eye out for updates!
