Red Dead Redemption for PS5 is now available for pre-order on Amazon, but Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced the release. It seems they’re quietly launching the physical version of the game.
A physical copy of this beloved game is available for pre-order today for $30, and it will be released on May 4th, 2026.
The product description is lacking important details for those buying a physical copy, like whether you need to download anything to install it. However, the content will be identical to the digital version – it includes the main game and the Undead Nightmare expansion.
So, a physical copy of the game for PS5 leaked a little while ago, and now it looks like it’s totally real – Amazon has listings for it! It’s kinda weird because Rockstar hasn’t officially announced anything about a physical release yet, but it seems it’s happening.
The PS5 version of Red Dead Redemption is a very basic update to the PS4 release, which was itself a simple refresh of the original PS3 game. When it came out on PS4, we felt the game deserved a more substantial upgrade.
