Ciara Miller was faithful to her 2026 Met Gala look.
The cream-colored outfit worn by the Summer House star during TopMob’s Live From TopMob: Met Gala 2026—along with Justin Sylvester, Keltie Knight, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Bronwyn Newport, Renee Montgomery, Chris Appleton, and Christian Siriano—immediately stood out to her, and she continued to love it throughout the night. (You can see all the amazing looks from the “Costume Art”-themed event here.)
Okay, so I was watching the Met Gala livestream with Erin Lim Rhodes, and I saw this amazing look – I immediately texted my stylist, like, ‘I LOVE this!’ He was cool about it, but honestly, we always go through so many options. I get so fixated on one thing sometimes, I forget there could be even better choices out there! We usually end up looking at at least five or six different ideas before I’m happy.
She explained that her stylist really stressed the importance of trying things on, and when she did, she immediately fell in love with the outfit. She said, ‘As soon as I put it on, I knew I had to have it. I told them to get it tailored to fit me perfectly and make sure it looked good on camera.’
As for the inspiration behind her ensemble?
Ciara shared that she feels corsets have been around forever, even before modern conveniences like electricity. She decided to include one in her outfit because she wanted a dramatic, bridal-inspired look with a very defined shape – a small waist and emphasis on her upper body – and she completed the look with a hair accessory.
Ciara recently attended an annual fundraiser while dealing with personal drama. News recently surfaced that her close friend and Summer House costar, Amanda Batula, is now dating Ciara’s ex-boyfriend, West Wilson.
As someone who follows these things closely, I’ve been paying attention to what Paige DeSorbo has said about her look for the Summer House reunion, and it really got me thinking. It seems like she puts a lot of thought and meaning into her outfits, so I’m guessing her choices for the Met Gala were just as carefully considered and symbolic. She’s definitely someone who uses fashion to make a statement!
She explained to Glamour that her choice of what to wear to the reunion would reflect her current feelings and personality. ‘It’s going to be a statement of where I stand,’ she said, adding that it would represent who she is on that day.

Okay, so everyone was dying to see Ciara come out with a total power outfit, like Ariana Madix did at the Vanderpump Reunion after everything with Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss. You know, a real ‘look at me, I’m thriving’ moment? But honestly, Ciara said that just wasn’t her thing. She’s not about making a statement like that, which… I get, but a part of me was still hoping!
I’m approaching this reunion with a new perspective,” she explained. “I’m not focused on trying to get even with anyone. I just want to present the real me – who I am today.”

Kim Kardashian made a huge impression at the 2021 Met Gala with a surprising all-black outfit that completely covered her face. The custom look was created by designer Demna Gvasalia, known for his work with Balenciaga. Surprisingly, Kim couldn’t actually see through the outfit!
During a November 2021 interview, Kris Jenner shared that Kim had trouble seeing and breathing throughout the Met Ball. Her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, stepped in to help, guiding Kim around and even fixing her ponytail. He was essentially both her guide and a hairstylist for the night.

Lil Nas X truly delivered a show-stopping entrance at the 2021 Met Gala, changing outfits twice. One look, a stunning gold Versace suit resembling armor, continues to amaze everyone who saw it.

Rihanna is consistently praised for her innovative style, but her appearance at the 2021 Met Gala with boyfriend A$AP Rocky really excited her fans. The couple made a memorable entrance, arriving near the end of the evening and captivating everyone on the red carpet.

In 1996, just a year before her tragic death, Princess Diana made her one and only appearance at the Met Gala. Her dress, a navy satin slip designed by John Galliano for Dior, sparked debate. Some thought it was too revealing for the event, and she even considered wearing something more conservative so as not to embarrass her son, Prince William. However, the dress quickly became a fashion icon.
As of 2024, Princess of Wales and Princess Beatrice are the only British royals who have gone to the Met Gala. However, many expect Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend in the future.

Every time Rihanna arrives at the Met Gala, she creates an iconic fashion moment. She consistently delivers unforgettable looks and sets a new standard.

The 2014 Met Gala is remembered for a now-famous elevator incident involving Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Solange Knowles. Security footage leaked, showing Solange physically confronting Jay-Z while Beyoncé stood by. The usually private family quickly released a statement saying they were still a close, united family, addressing the widespread public interest in the situation.
We may never learn the full story, but Beyoncé seemed to reference the incident in a remix of her song “Flawless,” rapping, “When a billion dollars is involved, disagreements sometimes happen—even in an elevator.”

Fans remember Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s relationship starting at the 2016 Met Gala, where they danced together a lot. Shortly after, Swift ended her relationship with Calvin Harris and quickly began a fast-moving summer romance with Hiddleston.

George and Amal Clooney first attended the Met Gala together as a married couple in 2015. Amal later returned in 2018 to help host the event as a co-chair.

Only a week after Beyoncé released her visual album, Lemonade, which hinted at struggles in her marriage with Jay-Z, she attended the 2016 Met Gala without him, causing a huge reaction from her fans. Luckily, she wasn’t alone – her sister, Solange, was there for support, and notably wore a bright lemon-yellow outfit.

Kim Kardashian will always remember her first Met Gala in 2013. She arrived with Kanye West wearing a striking floral dress by Givenchy. A month later, she gave birth to her daughter, North West. Two years after that, Kim jokingly wore the same floral outfit as a Halloween costume, posting a picture online with the caption, “Still fits…”

In 2006, Sarah Jessica Parker and the late Alexander McQueen made a bold fashion statement at the Met Gala. They both wore matching tartan outfits to celebrate the “AngloMania” exhibit, which explored British fashion’s mix of tradition and rebellion.

Everyone knows a picture can say a lot, and this one is especially telling! It shows designer Jeremy Scott between his dates to the 2016 Met Gala, Nicki Minaj and Demi Lovato. After Demi Lovato publicly suggested Nicki Minaj had been subtly critical of her on Instagram, she hinted at the uncomfortable night in a Billboard interview, revealing things weren’t as great as they seemed two years ago.
She remembered in 2018 having a really bad experience with a particular celebrity, describing them as unpleasant and difficult to be around. She also said the environment felt very exclusive and unwelcoming.

Anna Wintour famously tried to maintain an air of exclusivity at the Met Gala – so much so that she banned selfies back in 2015. She wanted to discourage the event from feeling like a typical awards show.
Two years later, Kylie Jenner and her friends snapped a quick photo in the bathroom. It was a memorable moment – a classic picture that will likely be remembered for years to come, even if it wasn’t taken with a Kodak camera.

In 2018, Madonna delivered a stunning performance of “Like a Prayer” as she descended the stairs of the Great Hall. She also sang Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” The performance perfectly matched the event’s theme that year, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” and felt like a true stairway to heaven.

Bella Hadid turned heads at the 2017 Met Gala with a striking outfit, skillfully avoiding an uncomfortable encounter with her ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd, and his date, Selena Gomez. According to a source, Bella maintained her distance from the couple throughout the night. Interestingly, Bella and The Weeknd later reconciled, but their relationship didn’t last and they eventually broke up again.

Jaden Smith is known for his bold fashion choices, and he first gained attention for this at the 2017 Met Gala when he carried his newly cut dreadlocks as an accessory. This unexpected move became a bit of a signature for the artist, and in 2018, he brought his gold-certified plaque for the song “Icon” as his Met Gala companion.

Claire Danes made a stunning entrance at the 2016 Met Gala wearing a light blue ball gown that looked like something out of a modern fairy tale. The dress, designed by Zac Posen, was actually covered in thousands of tiny L.E.D. lights, making her glow as she danced.

Lady Gaga completely nailed the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” theme at the 2019 Met Gala. She made a grand entrance in a huge, pink Brandon Maxwell gown, but that was just the first layer. After revealing multiple outfits, she eventually arrived in glamorous lingerie, leaving the crowd amazed.
