Gigi Hadid’s Underwear is On Display in Sheer Met Gala 2026 Gown

Gigi Hadid is officially a perfect 10 at the Met Gala.

The supermodel turned heads again at this year’s Met Gala, the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, which featured the “Costume Art” exhibit. She’s been a regular attendee of the event since her debut in 2015, and hasn’t missed a single gala since.

Gigi Hadid has been increasingly confident with her fashion choices, and this year’s Met Gala was no exception. Following the “Fashion Is Art” theme, she wore a stunning, custom-made Miu Miu gown. The dress was sheer, revealing her white underwear, but featured delicate floral details strategically placed for coverage.

Gigi’s recent success also means she and her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, have been at the Met Gala around the same time multiple times over the past three years, even if they haven’t always arrived together intentionally.

Although many expected them to, the couple didn’t use this event – co-hosted by Anna Wintour, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams – as a date night.

Bradley helped Gigi have a relaxed start to her day last year before the Met Gala. She later shared with Vogue that they woke up together and enjoyed a quiet morning before she began getting ready for the event.

Interestingly, the first Monday in May falls shortly after Gigi Hadid’s birthday. Having recently turned 30 on April 23rd, the model – who wore Miu Miu to the 2025 Met Gala – told Vogue she wants to approach her thirties by focusing on living in the moment and taking things “day by day.”
