Mark Zuckerberg & Wife Priscilla Chan Make Surprise Debut at Met Gala

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan tagged their location as the 2026 Met Gala.

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, a pediatrician, attended the Met Gala for the first time on May 4th. They bypassed the red carpet and went straight inside to see the ‘Costume Art’ exhibition.

The couple dressed elegantly for the “Fashion Is Art” event. Mark, 41, looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo with a black bow tie, and Priscilla, also 41, wore a striking red gown with long sleeves, a high neck, and a flowing, layered skirt.

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, who married in 2012 and have three daughters – Maxima, 10, August, 8, and Aurelia, 3 – were seen talking with Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri and musician Jon Batiste inside the Met museum.

Although this was their Met Gala debut, Mark and Priscilla have celebrated fashion before – they were front row at the Prada show during Milan Fashion Week in February.

Mark Zuckerberg celebrated both an event and his wife Priscilla’s birthday by sharing a series of photos on Instagram, and he thanked Prada for hosting them in Milan.

Priscilla joined a popular online trend inspired by a scene from the movie Grown Ups. She convinced her husband to participate, using a clip of Adam Sandler enthusiastically suggesting a trip to Milan, followed by David Spade’s humorous question, “Milan? Italy? What’s in Milan?”

She captioned the video, “When in Milan.”

Mark and Priscilla have generally kept their relationship private during their nearly 14 years of marriage and 23 years as a couple. However, they’ve always been open about how much they love each other.

In a 2024 Instagram post, Priscilla shared that of all the things she loves about Mark, his unwavering belief in others is one of her favorites, as she thought about the 21 birthdays they’ve celebrated together.

She said he believes in everyone’s abilities. She doesn’t know what the future holds, but she’s excited to be a part of it and looks forward to what’s to come.
