Ever since, fans have hoped to see other Saiyans reach this level, and Vegeta finally did recently. He returned in the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly, eventually becoming an ally. In the film, he fought equally with Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, suggesting his next transformation – possibly into Super Saiyan 3 – could make him even more powerful.

This change would really establish Broly as a one-of-a-kind Legendary Super Saiyan.
