If a trusted source is correct, we should get our first look at Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 this week.
Nate the Hate, a well-known source of gaming industry rumors, recently mentioned on Reddit that he’s heard the third installment in the series will be revealed at Summer Game Fest this Friday.
Everything seems to be falling into place. Square Enix recently announced that they’re preparing for a major reveal, and the game is essentially finished in terms of features.
It’s pretty obvious from this that Part 3 will likely be revealed during a major, widely-watched event, but it’s still nice to hear confirmation from a trusted source.
Geoff Keighley, who organizes and hosts Summer Game Fest, often reveals big news from Square Enix. For example, the first gameplay footage of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was shown at the end of Summer Game Fest last year.
It’s looking like we’re getting close to a title reveal! I’m excited that by the weekend, I won’t have to keep calling ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3’ that anymore – hopefully, the official name is great!
What are you hoping to see revealed in the full announcement for Part 3? Many people are curious if Sephiroth will be a playable character – let us know your thoughts in the comments!
