Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Reaches 1 Million Wishlists in One Week

Just a week after it was first shown to the world, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has already been added to one million players’ wishlists. Ubisoft announced this number includes all platforms, and with the game releasing on July 9th, they expect that number to grow even more.

Resynced is a complete rebuild of the popular 2013 game, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, and is built using the newest version of Ubisoft’s Anvil Engine. Because it uses the same technology as Assassin’s Creed Shadows, it includes features like immersive Atmos sound for realistic weather, improved parkour that keeps Edward Kenway’s original moves, and tools like Observe Mode.

The game has gone through some changes, and players haven’t been happy with all of them. Specifically, player-versus-player combat (PvP) and downloadable content, including expansions like Freedom Cry, aren’t included. Paul Fu, the creative director, also stated that the Hidden Blade won’t be a selectable weapon; instead, it will only be used automatically during combat after weakening an enemy.

Although some people aren’t happy with the changes, leaving out some of the original material hasn’t hurt the remake’s success. You can find more information about what to expect in our original report and a recent update with all the newest details.
