I’m so excited to see Heroes is making a comeback! According to FlixPatrol, it’s currently the No. 3 most-watched show on the Apple TV Store. For those who might not remember, Heroes was this amazing superhero drama that first aired way back on September 25, 2006. It ran for four seasons, ending in 2010, and followed a bunch of regular people who unexpectedly found out they had incredible, supernatural powers. It’s great to see people discovering (or rediscovering!) how good it is.

The World Warrior Tournament brings together the planet’s greatest martial artists, but even among them, some are more powerful than others. While the new movie hasn’t shown us everything about the characters, what we know from the games and the trailers gives us a good idea of who the strongest fighter will be.

During an interview to discuss his new Netflix show, Man on Fire, actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II talked about the renewal of Wonder Man for a second season. He expressed his excitement about it and hinted at what fans can expect from his character, Simon Williams, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “This one felt different,” Abdul-Mateen said. “I’m thrilled we’re getting a season two, and I can’t wait to share what we’ve created.”

Ugo Bienvenu’s animated film, Arco, has been praised for its style, which many compare to the work of Studio Ghibli. It first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2025 and was released in French cinemas in October before becoming available in the U.S. While it was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2026 Oscars – ultimately losing to K-Pop Demon Hunters – Arco is now set to gain wider recognition with its upcoming release on streaming platforms.

The series begins with a shocking and brutal scene: A-Train accidentally kills Hughie’s girlfriend. This tragedy is what brings the group together, initially to seek revenge for her death. However, Billy Butcher quickly uses Hughie’s grief to further his own agenda – destroying Homelander, who he blames for his wife’s death, and eliminating all superheroes. Though facing incredibly difficult odds, the group continues to fight, and this statement reveals the reason behind their determination.

I was really surprised to hear they cut Sydney Sweeney’s cameo! She filmed a scene right at the beginning, playing herself and getting ready for an event with Emily Blunt’s character, Emily Charlton – who’s now in charge of Dior in the US. Apparently, the scene just didn’t fit with the overall flow of the movie, so they had to remove it. It was about three minutes long, which is a shame!

The trailer for season 3, called The Vampire Lestat, reveals that a new era for Lestat is beginning, and the season will be released this summer. This season of the Immortal Universe series is based on Anne Rice’s novel, The Vampire Lestat, which continues the story from Interview with the Vampire. In the new season, Lestat starts a career as a rock star and decides to share his life story as a vampire with the world. This comes after he and Louis reconciled at the end of season 2 of Interview with the Vampire.
