Pearl Abyss has released a free download of Crimson Desert on Steam. The open-world RPG is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but this free download isn’t offered on those consoles. Unlike some temporary freebies on Steam, this download is permanently available for Crimson Desert fans, and you don’t need to purchase the game to get it.
Pearly Abyss, the South Korean game developer, has made the first volume of the Crimson Desert Original Soundtrack available for free on Steam. This collection features 75 original music tracks composed by various artists for the open-world RPG. The soundtrack is divided into four parts: music for the story, combat, exploration, and boss battles. You can also find it on YouTube, and Pearl Abyss plans to release it on other streaming services soon, though they haven’t announced which ones or when. Fans have been asking about a physical release, like a vinyl record, but there’s currently no news about that.

Pearly Abyss describes this free album as the result of hard work and dedication. They aimed to capture the epic landscapes and emotional highlights of Pywel through its music, hoping it will be a constant source of support for players as they explore the world and shape their own stories.
