As of less than two hours ago when we publish this, Mina the Hollower is finished.
Let’s be clear: the Game Boy-style adventure game still doesn’t have a specific release date, only a general timeframe of Spring 2026.
I’m so excited! Yacht Club Games just announced that Shovel Knight is officially gold! That means it’s finished and ready to ship – it’s really happening!
That’s industry talk for ‘it’s done’ – meaning the launch should be happening very soon.
Here’s what it wrote on social media:
Great news! Mina the Hollower is finished and has been submitted to our partners for release. We’re waiting on the official release date and will share it with you as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience – we’re excited for you to finally play!
A limited-time demo of this game was available on PlayStation 5 earlier this year, and many of you likely had a chance to try it. While that demo is now gone, the full game will be released soon.
Originally revealed in 2022, this project took longer to finish than expected. But now, it looks like it’s almost here!
