I Opened 55 Packs from Pokemon TCG’s Chaos Rising, Here’s How The Pull Rates Are Looking

While preparing my review of the Chaos Rising set, I opened 55 packs of cards. I think this set has fewer impressive full-art cards compared to Perfect Order, though that’s likely just bad luck on my part. I did get some rarer cards, but nothing really stood out. Still, opening so many packs allowed me to estimate the pull rates for Chaos Rising. These numbers are based on my experience and should give you a general idea of how difficult it will be to find rare cards when the set releases on May 22nd.

Every Planet of the Apes Film, Ranked From Worst to Best

The Planet of the Apes series is heading in a new direction. While Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes earned around $397 million globally and was intended to launch a new saga set long after the films featuring Caesar, 20th Century Studios has chosen Matt Shakman (known for WandaVision and The Fantastic Four: First Steps) to direct a different Planet of the Apes movie. This new film won’t follow the story of Kingdom, essentially starting the franchise over. Before this new chapter begins, here’s a ranking of all the Planet of the Apes films, from least to most enjoyable.

Another Shonen Jump Series Readies for 2026 Cancellation With New Update

Recent cancellations of manga series in Shonen Jump have all followed a similar pattern: each series ends after fewer than 30 chapters, and often less than 20. It now appears that Akira Inui’s Alien Headbutt will be next to end. Updates regarding the release of physical copies in Japan (noticed by @WSJ_manga on X) suggest the series will conclude in the next few weeks.

Avery Brooks’ Favorite Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Episode: ‘Far Beyond the Stars’

As a huge fan, I’ve always been struck by how special the episode directed by Avery Brooks is. It really gets at the heart of what makes science fiction so compelling – those core struggles that define the genre. Knowing he also starred in ‘Far Beyond the Stars,’ it’s clear how much of himself he poured into this one. It truly showcases one of the most powerful and moving performances Captain Sisko ever gave. And even now, years later, Avery Brooks still talks about it as his absolute favorite Deep Space Nine episode – and honestly, I can completely understand why!

Paul Rudd Reveals He Was Arrested Twice As a Teenager

You know, as someone who follows celebrity stories, I was really struck by a recent confession from the ‘This Is 40’ actor. He shared that he actually had a couple of brushes with the law before he became famous – two separate incidents, to be exact. It’s a reminder that everyone has a past, even those we see on screen!

DCU’s Lanterns Gets Surprising Season 2 Update (But It Should Make Comic Fans Happy)

Following the recent film releases, the DC Universe is putting another big project to the test with the HBO series Lanterns. The show offers a fresh interpretation of the iconic character Hal Jordan, played by established actor Kyle Chandler and newcomer Aaron Pierre as Jon Stewart. Despite some initial debate, Lanterns appears to be a unique story within the broader DCU. Recent reports suggest a shift in creative direction for Season 2, as Tom King and Damon Lindelof are expected to leave the show, with new leadership taking over.
