Rihanna Debuts Massive Scribble Tattoo Designed by Her 3 Kids

Rihanna‘s three kids are becoming quite the artists.

Rihanna loves her kids so much that she had artwork created by her three children – Rza, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocki, 7 months – tattooed onto her left leg. The tattoo was done by well-known artist Bang Bang.

The large tattoo, made up of many lines of different thicknesses, was created by her children, according to tattoo artist Bang Bang (Keith McCurdy) in an Instagram post on May 8, which also showed the tattooing process.

The initial artwork was created with bright markers and featured Paw Patrol stickers. However, Rihanna chose a much simpler design for her tattoo, using only black ink.

In a lighthearted moment, the 38-year-old playfully described the tattoo process as ‘torture’ in one video. She then jokingly requested in another clip, while getting a new tattoo, that the camera focus on her backside for the best shots.

Rihanna has gotten many tattoos from artist Bang Bang. One of his most famous designs for her is a henna-inspired tattoo on her right hand, which he added to a Maori tattoo she’d gotten in 2013.

Okay, so it turns out Rihanna’s kids aren’t just little art critics with amazing taste in tattoo ideas – apparently, they’re musical geniuses too! Like, can you even handle how talented they are? She said it herself, and honestly, I knew they were destined for greatness. I just knew it!

 

In a 2025 interview with TopMob News, she shared that her two sons are both passionate about music and enjoy playing instruments.

Rihanna joked about not being able to tell whose creative influence was stronger – hers or her partner, A$AP Rocky’s. She pointed out that Rocky, who she calls Riot, often improvises, adding, ‘That’s just something he does.’

In fact, Riot is quite talkative in general.

A$AP Rocky, who has been with Rihanna since 2019, told Esquire in January that RZA ‘can’t stop talking.’ He jokingly said, ‘Rza, don’t be talking. That’s Riot.’

But that’s not to say Rza is the shy one of the family.

Rza admitted to heavily bullying Riot when he was very young and couldn’t yet walk or talk. He jokingly suggested that Riot has now grown up and is capable of taking things back from him, like a book or even a pacifier.

She explained to Justin Sylvester that because her friends know her so well – her routines and what she usually likes and dislikes – it was tough to explain why she wasn’t drinking or smoking and was suddenly craving sweets like cookies and donuts. Eventually, she told them, and they were just as surprised as the rest of the world.

And baby makes three! Multiple outlets report that the couple welcomed a baby in Los Angeles.

She debuted her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.

The couple recently had a baby boy named Riot, making them a family of four. They shared their first official family photos about a month after his birth.

Rihanna confirmed her romance with A$AP began at the end of 2019. 

She explained in an interview with Interview magazine, published on April 9th, that they were both familiar with each other’s romantic histories. Knowing how strongly they affected each other – and the potential for both happiness and heartbreak – they began dating very carefully.

Rihanna is expecting her third child! She announced the news just before attending the 2025 Met Gala.

Rihanna revealed she had a baby girl, Rocki Irish Mayers, by sharing photos on Instagram. The pictures show Rihanna holding her newborn, playfully framed by a pair of pink boxing gloves.
