Niall Horan and Harry Styles have a long-standing friendship, but Niall might not be able to attend an important upcoming event.
Just weeks after reports surfaced that Niall Horan’s One Direction colleague was getting married to Zoë Kravitz, the singer explained why he isn’t focused on their wedding plans.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was listening to Niall on the radio—you know, from One Direction with Harry, Zayn, Louis, and sweet Liam—and someone asked him about a reunion! He was SO firm, he literally said, ‘No, no, no, I am not going if that’s what you are asking!’ It’s devastating, but honestly, I respect his honesty. Still, a girl can dream, right?
When the interviewer expressed disappointment in his answer, Niall joked, “I’m a busy man.”
Niall, who has been with Amelia Woolley since 2021, doesn’t have anything scheduled for Harry and Zoë’s wedding, but he’s excited about attending a couple of weddings for his friends soon.
Okay, so things with Niall confirming he’s coming are still a little up in the air, honestly. It’s just… everything’s been so fast with Harry and Zoë! They just started everyone wondering if they were engaged last month, when Zoë was photographed with this HUGE ring on that finger on April 21st. It’s all happening so quickly, I’m trying to keep up!
Though Zoë and her partner have been rumored to be together since August 2025, they haven’t confirmed or denied the relationship. In fact, at this month’s Met Gala, her stylist intentionally concealed any ring on her finger by adding extra, eye-catching jewelry, like statement earrings and a bold cocktail ring.
Even though Harry hasn’t sent Niall a Save the Date yet, Niall has still supported him. He recently spoke highly of Harry’s lead single, “Aperture,” from his newest album, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally.

Niall said in a February interview with Hits Radio UK that he was really happy for the artist. He described the new song as a complete shift in style, but added, “It’s amazing, though!”
He emphasized, “It’s gonna be great live.”
Niall, like the other members of the band, has shared that they’ll always treasure their memories of performing together in the early 2010s.
Niall explained on Today in 2023 that they were always a bit stunned by everything. From the outside, he admitted it probably looked chaotic, with people constantly pointing out how huge the band was. But they were just enjoying themselves. They used to say they were regular people in an extraordinary situation, and Niall believes that was a helpful way to look at it.

Even though the band became popular with fans worldwide, they came in third place on the show in 2010, finishing behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle.

The British band first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2012, delivering an energetic performance of their hit song, “One Thing.”

The band won the award for Best Song of the Summer at the VMAs for their hit, “Best Song Ever.”

The band’s concert documentary, This Is Us, offers fans an inside look at life on the road during their This Is Us Tour.

In November 2014, the band had the opportunity to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton while performing at the Royal Variety Performance.

In 2014, the band’s Where We Are Tour earned more money than any other tour, surpassing those by popular artists like Justin Timberlake, The Rolling Stones, Katy Perry, and the joint tour by Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

In March 2015, Malik announced that he was leaving the band to launch his solo career.

Following the release of their 2015 album, Made in the A.M., One Direction—consisting of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson—shared that they would be taking a break with no set return date.

In 2016, Louis Tomlinson had a son named Freddie Reign. The following year, Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole welcomed their son, Bear Grey.

Back in 2020, rumors of a possible One Direction reunion began circulating when Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan all started following Zayn Malik again on X (formerly Twitter).
Adding to the speculation about a possible reunion, Payne revealed to The Sun that they’d been talking frequently in recent weeks because the band’s 10-year anniversary is approaching, and he said it had been a positive experience.

Malik and his then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid welcomed daughter Khai in September 2020.

Payne attended the London premiere of Tomlinson’s 2023 documentary All of Those Voices.
