2010 PS3 and Xbox 360 Game Getting New Remake, 16 Years Later

I was so excited to hear that Mafia 2 might finally be getting a full remake! I remember playing it back in 2010 when 2K Czech (who later became Warhorse Studios, the creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance) released it as a sequel to the original Mafia. The first game got a fantastic remake in 2016, and while Mafia 2 only got a remaster, it sounds like Hangar 13 – the team behind the series now, taking over after Mafia III – is going all-in on a complete rebuild. Apparently, they’re working on this remake alongside a sequel to Mafia: The Old Country, which is planned for 2025. It’s great news for fans like me who loved the original!

An Iconic Sci-Fi Character Made His Last TV Appearance 45 Years Ago (And Every Reboot Attempt Has Failed)

The show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century centers around Buck Rogers (played by Gil Gerard), an astronaut from the 20th century who is frozen for 500 years and wakes up on a future Earth facing danger from aliens. Along with his companions, Colonel Wilma Deering (Erin Gray) and the robot Twiki (Felix Silla), Buck appeared in 32 episodes over two seasons. The show changed direction in its second season, focusing more on exploring space with a mobile starship. However, this wasn’t enough to keep viewers interested, and the series ended on April 16, 1981, with the episode “The Dorian Secret.” Since then, Buck Rogers hasn’t appeared in live-action television for over 45 years.
