After many years on television, Grey’s Anatomy has reached numerous milestones. Season 22 was especially significant, as the show surpassed 450 episodes – a remarkable achievement in today’s TV landscape where shows often have shorter seasons and longer breaks. The season also saw the welcome return of beloved characters like Jackson Avery and Addison Montgomery. However, the year will end with a major loss at the Seattle hospital, marking the end of an era for the series.

As a huge fantasy fan, I’ve noticed a trend: so many of the really successful TV shows in the genre are based on books that were already hits. Honestly, it makes sense. Building a fantasy world from the ground up is incredibly difficult, so adapting a story people already love is a smart way to increase your chances of success. A great example, and one that doesn’t get enough attention, is the 2007 show The Dresden Files. It was only twelve episodes, super easy to binge, and I really think it could have blown up if it had gotten more of a chance.

Honestly, playing as Nathan Drake in those four Uncharted games felt like starring in a big-budget action movie – it was incredible! It’s really disappointing that we haven’t gotten a new game in the series for over a decade now. I’m still hoping for another adventure!

Filming for the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie is happening in Otago, New Zealand, particularly in the town of Glenorchy. Rachel Weisz didn’t get much chance to shine in Black Widow, but she’ll soon be back in the action genre with a new The Mummy movie. According to Variety, Weisz is joining Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser in a The Mummy sequel that’s scheduled to hit theaters on May 19, 2028.

HBO Max has officially categorized James Gunn’s upcoming Lanterns series as both “Fantasy & Sci-Fi” and a “drama.” This is the first time a project from DC Studios has been classified under the “Fantasy & Sci-Fi” genre on the streaming platform.
