LEGO, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, And Batgirl Lead This Week’s Biggest Collectible Auctions

No matter what you collect – from old comics and popular toy lines to famous franchises – there’s probably an auction for you. This week’s auctions are full of incredible items for collectors of all kinds. Whether you’re into rare LEGO sets, classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys, early Batgirl comics, or unique Spider-Man art, you’re sure to find something to add to your collection.

We’re starting with two LEGO sets from the world of space! First is the LEGO Classic Space Cosmic Fleet Voyager, originally released in 1986. This particular set has been professionally graded as AFA 80+ Near Mint – it’s currently the only one of its kind to be graded. It’s packed with details, includes four minifigures and a rover, and has a large number of pieces. Bidding is currently at $1,100, and you have two days left to place your bid and potentially own this rare set.

Star Wars Collector Series Death Star II

Let’s continue exploring LEGO sets with the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Death Star II. Released in 2005, this impressive set features the iconic Death Star as it was being built and contains over 3,000 pieces. While a newer Death Star set has been released, it received mixed reviews, and this one is currently available for under that price at $700. If you’re a collector, you have just two days left to bid on it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Go Undercover

Now, we’re looking at a classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy from 1994 – the Undercover Donatello figure. This version features Donatello disguised with a hat and trench coat, and includes a communicator and phone. It’s in excellent condition, having received an AFA grade of 80 – only seven graded examples are better! If you’re interested in owning this rare collectible, you have two days left to place a bid, with the current price at $1650.

Detective Comics #359 and Todd McFarlane and Rick Magyar Spider-Man #11 Original Art Page

Now let’s talk about comics, specifically a key issue featuring the Bat-Family. Detective Comics #359 marks the first appearance of Batgirl, and a remarkably well-preserved copy graded 9.6 by CGC is currently up for auction. Only three copies have ever received a grade this high or better, with a perfect 9.8 copy last sold five years ago. If you’re looking for a stunning edition of this classic character’s debut, the current bid is $1450, and the auction continues for another 19 days.

Our last featured piece comes from the world of Marvel Comics, showcasing the iconic Spider-Man. We’re highlighting an original art page from Spider-Man #11, created by Todd McFarlane and Rick Magyar. This page, number 10 of the issue, depicts Spider-Man dramatically perched on a wall overlooking the city. It’s a classic example of McFarlane’s Spider-Man style, and it’s currently up for auction with a bid of $13,500. You have 20 days to place your bid!
