While some Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptations are fantastic, many others feel like they only use popular comic book stories for their name value, losing what made those stories meaningful. The studio often focuses on well-known events but ignores the important themes, turning significant moments into shallow references or stories that just don’t feel right. This leads to a frustrating trend where comic book fans are left disappointed by missed opportunities.

Several new Star Trek games have already come out in 2026, with varying degrees of success. Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, a survival strategy game, received generally positive feedback on Steam. However, even more Star Trek games are currently in development and scheduled to be released in 2026 and 2027. Square Enix and Capcom have been collaborating for some time to create a crossover event. At Summer Game Fest 2026, Takayuki Nakayama and Shuhei Matsumoto, the director and producer of Street Fighter 6, explained how they integrated Tifa into the game and adapted her skills from the RPG series to fit the fighting game’s gameplay.

Before dinosaurs became a huge movie sensation with Jurassic Park, the Dino-Riders franchise offered exciting and innovative toys. However, despite its potential, the line of action figures and accompanying TV show quickly disappeared, missing out on the massive dinosaur craze that followed.

In an interview with Collider, Colin Farrell revealed that filming for the new project will begin “in a week.” He won’t be needed on set right away, though. “I’ll be flying to London in about a month,” Farrell said. “I don’t have a huge role in this one, but I’ll be there for a few weeks, and I’m really excited to see how it all comes together as a fan.”
