The final scene of Titanic is famously heartbreaking: Jack and Rose both survive the ship sinking, but there isn’t enough room on a floating door for both of them. Rose makes it to safety while Jack is left in the freezing water and tragically dies. For years, fans have argued about whether Jack could have been saved and proposed different ways they both might have survived. Now, the director, James Cameron, is joining the conversation.

The premise of Voyager – featuring Starfleet’s first female captain, brilliantly played by Kate Mulgrew – held a lot of potential. However, many viewers were disappointed because the show didn’t fully live up to its promise for much of its run. It rarely explored the real challenges of being stranded far from home. Despite being lost in deep space, the ship’s damage was often quickly fixed, resources were easily found, and crises were usually resolved within a single episode – a common pattern for Star Trek. Essentially, the show didn’t convey a strong sense of isolation or desperation, and the crew’s difficult situation was often overlooked – except in one significant instance.

The crime drama Found quickly became popular on NBC when it first aired during the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strike, but the show was cancelled after only two seasons. Now, fans can stream both seasons on Netflix starting January 2nd. Created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Found stars Shanola Hampton as Gabi Mosely, a woman who was once kidnapped and now helps find missing people as part of a crisis management team.

Copies of Star Wars: Racer Revenge for the PlayStation 4 have recently begun selling for as much as $300 on sites like eBay. Originally released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Racer Revenge is a sequel to the popular Star Wars Episode 1: Racer. It was re-released on PS4 in 2015 and given a physical release in 2019 by Limited Run Games. These PS4 copies weren’t considered special until a recent announcement changed things.

Released almost thirty years ago, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile recently celebrated a significant anniversary and continues to be a standout platformer from its era. Though it may have been missed by some at the time, players who’ve experienced it often consider it a favorite.

On February 5th, Square Enix will release Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. This is a remastered version of the classic RPG Dragon Quest VII, originally released for the PlayStation 1 in 2000.
