Ubisoft Cancels Animal Crossing Competitor After 3 Years in Development
According to a report from Insider Gaming on April 21st, Ubisoft has cancelled the game Alterra. This is the seventh game Ubisoft has cancelled this year, following an earlier announcement in January that six projects were scrapped. The reason for the cancellation isn’t currently known, but it means one fewer game like Animal Crossing will be released.

I was so excited to see the news on the Xbox website today! They’re actually lowering the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate! It’s going down from $29.99 to $22.99 a month, which is a huge relief. PC Game Pass is also getting cheaper, dropping from $16.49 to $13.99. It’s still a little more than the old $19.99 price for Ultimate that we had until 2025, but way better than the recent $30 a month! This makes getting access to all those games much more affordable.
