Here are six underrated Metroidvanias.

For a while now, Netflix has been a place to stream the live-action Transformers movies, but that’s about to change. On December 25th, all four of Michael Bay’s Transformers films will be removed from the service, so December 24th is your last chance to watch them on Netflix.

Today, Disney seems like a guaranteed success, but almost 50 years ago, the company took a big risk with a science fiction film that was unusually dark for them. The movie didn’t do well with audiences at first, but over time, it’s gained a following and is now considered a cult classic by many science fiction fans.

This yearly two-day event highlights popular action manga series published in Shueisha’s magazines, like Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump Square, V Jump, Saikyo Jump, and the Shonen Jump+ online platform. Demon Slayer, a huge hit from Weekly Shonen Jump, had a stage appearance on the second day, December 21st, 2025. However, the presentation was limited to a greeting from the voice actors of the Infinity Castle movie and news about an art book, Blu-rays, and DVDs. Unfortunately, there were no updates on Infinity Castle Part 2, and the streaming details for the first part haven’t been announced yet. While bigger announcements are likely next year, it means fans will have to wait even longer for the second installment.

It’s possible Grand Theft Auto VI might be delayed again. It was originally planned for 2025 and has already been pushed back twice, leading many to believe it could launch in 2027. But even if that happens, 2026 still promises a fantastic lineup of games. Trying to play them all at release will be a challenge, but it’s a good problem to have! Some developers are taking extra time to ensure their games are polished and to avoid competing directly with the biggest releases of 2026.

Halloween was a frequent tradition on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and the team often celebrated Thanksgiving together. However, Christmas was only featured in four episodes across the show’s eight seasons. Seasons 1 through 4 included Christmas episodes, but season 5 skipped it in its mid-season finale, and the later seasons (6, 7, and 8) were shorter and aired earlier in the year. Though those four Brooklyn Nine-Nine Christmas episodes were excellent, it’s still fun to debate which ones stand out the most.
