In response to the question about the possibility of Nicolas Cage reprising his role as Ghost Rider in “Deadpool & Wolverine”, Reynolds simply affirmed, “Yes, it did come up in our discussion. However, nothing is confirmed yet.”
Will Nic Cage ever return as Ghost Rider?
As a gamer, I’ve often expressed my feelings that I’ve hung up my “Spirit of Vengeance” helmet for good. Back in 2013, I felt like I had given all I could with that character. Fast forward to 2022, and Marvel still hasn’t reached out to me for a reunion with the franchise.
Cage clarified he hasn’t had conversations with Kevin Feige from Marvel regarding their respective works. Interestingly enough, nobody has asked him to return for another round as Ghost Rider, but instead, they inquired about his thoughts on the Marvel films in general, which he gladly shared.
