Being an Iron Man fan during the Civil War comics wasn’t easy. Several related stories portrayed him as a villain, and some even suggested he was fated to become a dictator – a New Warriors storyline was particularly harsh. Even in the main Civil War story, Iron Man made things worse by luring Captain America’s team into a trap at one of his facilities, using a clone of Thor, which ultimately failed.
While most Ubisoft games manage to become at least somewhat well-known, there’s one that rarely gets talked about – it feels like most people have either forgotten it or never knew it existed. This fantastic, yet underrated, open-world sci-fi RPG deserves a lot more attention, and it’s one of the few games that tried to do what No Man’s Sky did, but on a smaller scale. Season 5 of The Boys is steadily removing supporting characters, with multiple members of The Seven dying in recent episodes. A-Train’s death was one of the first and most impactful, and Firecracker’s loss was also significant. This week, another member of Vought’s superhero team met their end. With Homelander becoming even more powerful, these deaths might not change the overall story much. However, they do remove the possibility of Homelander being defeated in the same way as in the original comic books.
Fortunately, the Steam Machine is expected to be reasonably priced, especially considering current PC hardware costs. We’re not sure why – it could be that initial production costs are already factored in – but reports suggest a price between $600 and $650. That’s more expensive than a standard PS5, but cheaper than a PS5 Pro, and it features more recent technology than either console.
The trailer combines actual gameplay footage with scenes from the story, offering lots of hints about the character’s past.
Readers were captivated by Vaughan’s powerful story, which was known for its fast-paced plot and surprising turns, right up to the final issue in 2019. Even if you didn’t read it when it first came out, or haven’t revisited it since, it’s worth checking out again. The story’s clever use of time travel brilliantly captures the complexities of modern life and emotions, and it deserves more appreciation for how rewarding it is.
The game includes classic Batman villains like the Joker, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and Mr. Freeze (who fights in a huge robot). You’ll also encounter Poison Ivy with her two-headed plant dragon. Beyond the villains, the game recreates famous moments from the movies, such as the Joker’s nurse disguise from The Dark Knight and the pivotal speech from Henri Ducard to Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins about becoming something greater.

So, Takaya Imamura, a Nintendo artist who’s worked on the series for ages, has been sharing his thoughts on the new Star Fox game online. He’s really happy it’s finally happening, which is awesome! But he admitted he’s a little conflicted about how the characters look now. He basically said if he’d been on the team, he probably wouldn’t have gone with those designs. Still, he thinks the game seems to have a good overall vision and that Nintendo’s really pulling everything together nicely.
