Nickelodeon Director Confirms Talks With Paramount For Series Revival/NickToons Crossover

At MomoCon, an anime convention in Atlanta, creator Jorge R. Gutierrez shared exciting news: he’s working to bring back his show, El Tigre, at Paramount. Even more surprisingly, he’s hoping to include characters from Invader Zim and My Life as a Teenage Robot in a crossover! While these Nickelodeon shows are quite different from El Tigre, Gutierrez has already spoken with the creators of both, Jhonen Vasquez and Rob Renzetti, and they’ve given him their approval. Although Paramount hasn’t officially approved the project yet, things are looking promising.

5 Things That Still Don’t Make Sense About King Kong

As a longtime moviegoer, I’ve seen quite a few iterations of King Kong, and it’s fascinating how certain elements always seem to stick around, no matter the director. Over time, these recurring ideas have become part of what is King Kong to most people, but honestly, when you really think about it, a lot of it doesn’t quite add up. For a character as legendary as Kong, you’d be surprised how much feels… well, frustratingly illogical.

One of DC’s Fan-Favorite Heroes Could Secretly Be a Major Villain

As a huge Superman fan, I totally get why people have been begging for a way to see Jon as a kid again, but honestly, it’s just not realistic at this point – he’s been an adult for a long time! Still, we all loved seeing young Jon’s adventures. But the new Superman Unlimited storyline might finally put those wishes to rest. It brought back someone who looked like a younger Jon Kent, and it was a clever idea – the adult Jon changed his name to Tomorrow Man to protect his younger self and let him have a normal life. However, issue #13 dropped a major bomb – this ‘young’ Jon isn’t who he claims to be. In fact, it looks like he’s actually the son of one of Jon’s biggest enemies, which is a crazy twist!

30 Rock’s Grizz Chapman Dead at 52

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Grizz Chapman. He was best known as Grizz, the bodyguard, on that sitcom, and he really brought a lot of fun to the show. His publicist, Saideh A. Brown, confirmed he died on May 22nd. He was only 52, and it’s just a shock. He’ll be greatly missed.

Can’t Wait For Heat 2? Netflix’s New Crime Series Is The Next Best Thing

With the release of Heat 2 getting closer, Netflix’s Nemesis is generating buzz as a great way to tide fans over. The show isn’t meant to replace the movie sequel, but it successfully captures the essence of what made the original Heat so popular: a compelling story about two men—one a law enforcer, the other a criminal—facing off against each other.

7 DC Heroes Who Should Never Join the Justice League

Not every hero is suited for the Justice League. While some are powerful and dedicated to doing good, they simply don’t quite fit the team’s dynamic or needs. These seven DC heroes, for various reasons, wouldn’t thrive as members of the League’s core group.
