As a devoted MCU fan, I was taken aback when Kelsey Grammer made his comeback as Beast in The Marvels. What I didn’t anticipate was an entire year of X-Men taking over the scene! In a chat with ComicBook, Grammar hinted at some secret plans with Marvel Studios for the future. With this tantalizing revelation, the question now is where we might see Beast next in the MCU. Some fans are banking on Avengers: Secret Wars given all the rumored Marvel returns in the works. However, there’s a longshot contender that could fit perfectly in Avengers: Doomsday. Let’s delve into what Grammer shared during our chat first.
According to Grammer, he can’t discuss anything at the moment. However, when he appeared in the final scenes of “The Marvels“, it seemed, there was a massive reaction that wasn’t entirely unexpected, but quite intense. As a result, there have been some intense discussions about it.
It appears there’s definitely some intriguing activity happening between the Frazier star (Marvel Studios) and us. Ever since it was known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, fans of these movies have been eagerly anticipating the next Avengers crossover. With all the other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) developments, it seems our team of heroes is gearing up for an incursion. The ones avoided in Spider-Man: No Way Home and The Marvels are just the tip of the iceberg. A confrontation with an X-Men world, including Doctor Doom, would undoubtedly capture everyone’s interest.
Beast Could Be The One To Explain The Stakes of Incursions
The movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” clarified the concept of incursions for viewers, while “The Marvels” underscored the impending danger with Monica Rambeau. Meanwhile, the heroes of Earth-616 remain unaware of what lies ahead. Yet, Ant-Man seems to be privy to this information. It’s likely that a brilliant mind will soon brief Captain America, Hawkeye, Shang-Chi, The Hulk, and their companions about the situation. If the X-Men’s realm encounters our heroes, someone might need to outline the implications. In the Secret Wars comics of recent years, different realms would attempt peaceful resolution before conflicts erupted between them. Given that a mutant is often a diplomat in many X-Men films, it wouldn’t be surprising if he took on this role here as well.
As events become complicated and disorderly, it’s likely that characters hinted at the end of Captain Marvel’s film, specifically Binary and Monica, will return. Notably, many of Grammar’s X-Men companions were missing from Deadpool & Wolverine. It would be thrilling for fans to see them reunited before the impending chaos of Avengers: Secret Wars escalates further. Lashana Lynch has hinted at her future with the X-Men, leaving us all eagerly awaiting more information.
Lynch pondered when questioned about his cameo, ” Frankly, that question hasn’t been posed to me; we haven’t discussed it. I only spent a day on that set, and yet it seems to have left a lasting impression. It’s remarkable given my brief involvement. At the time, I was working on Matilda, so that makes it all the more extraordinary. Honestly, I’m not sure.
She added, “Initially, I found not knowing a bit of a hassle because I prefer having an idea of what lies ahead so I can plan accordingly. However, I’ve grown to appreciate the unexpectedness now. I’m glad I didn’t know about that particular turn of events. It was a gradual realization for me, though it might have been planned all along by them. As for my future, I don’t have a clue what’s in store next, but considering the trajectory of the franchise, it promises to be thrilling. I can hardly wait to see where it takes us next.
