That’s a fitting comparison. This game won’t be a timeless classic like the Mona Lisa, but it’s similar to Leonardo da Vinci’s initial airplane designs – full of big ideas that, unfortunately, never quite take flight.

The initial season felt like a complete story, so many viewers were surprised when it continued for two more seasons. However, the showrunner, Chris Chibnall, always intended for the show to be one long story told over three seasons.

I was immediately drawn in by how much the characters have changed in the new season. It’s been a year since we last saw Hezekiah, played brilliantly by Malachi Kirby, and he’s really a broken version of his former self. Then there’s Sugar, portrayed by Stephen Graham – it’s heartbreaking to see him so isolated and struggling with alcohol, completely cut off from his family. Okay, so picking up right after season one of The Pitt, we find Dr. Trinity Santos – Isa Briones is fantastic, by the way – still letting Dennis “Huckleberry” Whitaker crash at her place. That initial act of kindness continues into season two, but it quickly becomes clear Huckleberry isn’t the only one regularly hanging around Dr. Santos’ apartment. It definitely sets up an interesting dynamic, and I’m eager to see where this goes!
