One of the Best YA Franchises of the 2010s Is Dominating Peacock Ahead of 2026 Sequel

All five Hunger Games movies became available on Peacock on January 14th and quickly became popular with viewers. Currently, the first four films hold four of the top ten spots on Peacock’s U.S. streaming chart. The Hunger Games is the highest-ranked, at number five, followed by Catching Fire and Mockingjay Part 1 at numbers six and seven, and Mockingjay Part 2 at number nine. The newest movie, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which tells the story of a young Coriolanus Snow and the tenth Hunger Games, is the only one not yet in the Top 10.

Top 3 Must-Watch Prime Video Shows This Weekend: January 23–25, 2026

Even with popular new shows like Fallout and The Night Manager doing well, three fantastic series deserve your attention. Despite a lot of pre-release buzz, the movie didn’t perform as well as expected in theaters. While experts predicted a domestic opening weekend of over $20 million, it only earned $14.4 million over the four-day holiday, according to Box Office Mojo. Surprisingly, Avatar: Fire & Ash, with $17.9 million, remained the number one movie for a fifth week. It’s still early days, and positive reviews could improve its performance, but the opening weekend was definitely a letdown for a series hoping to continue with another film.

I was thrilled when I discovered a Prime Video series that blends both sci-fi and fantasy, and honestly, I think it has the potential to be even more incredible.

Pirates of the Caribbean Is the Last Great Fantasy Epic Franchise

The first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies were outstanding, and the fact that they made two more shows just how popular the series became. The franchise earned over three times its production cost, representing a high point for fantasy adventures. Beyond One Piece, it’s one of the only pirate stories to achieve global success recently, as the genre seems to be losing popularity.

Hilary Duff’s Daughter Has Iconic Reaction Watching A Cinderella Story

I recently had the fun experience of revisiting some of my favorite roles – you know, looking back at scenes from movies and TV shows I’ve done over the years. It was especially sweet to re-watch A Cinderella Story and my character, Sam Montgomery! It’s amazing how things stay with you, and it brought back so many great memories.
