Guy Richards, the head of ID@Xbox, confirmed in an interview on March 12, 2026, that Project Moorcroft has been cancelled. The project, first announced in June 2022, aimed to let independent developers share early demos of their games with Xbox Game Pass subscribers. This would help developers gain players and gather feedback during the game’s creation. Originally planned to launch within a year of the announcement, Project Moorcroft never materialized, and its cancellation is now official.

Released in 2023, Nimona is a big, imaginative science-fantasy adventure that had a surprisingly tough journey to the big screen. It’s based on the popular graphic novel by ND Stevenson and originally started at Blue Sky Studios, but the project was canceled when Disney bought 20th Century Fox. Luckily, Annapurna Pictures and Netflix stepped in to help directors Nick Bruno and Troy Quane finish their vision of a world that blends technology and medieval times. The story centers on Nimona (voiced by Chloë Grace Moretz), a shapeshifting teenager who teams up with Ballister Boldheart (voiced by Riz Ahmed), a knight wrongly accused of a crime. Despite earning strong reviews and an Academy Award nomination, Nimona didn’t achieve the same level of commercial success as KPop Demon Hunters, even though the two films share many similarities.

I’m really excited about Sunderfolk! It started as a fun game to play with friends on the couch, but the recent 2.0 update has totally changed things. Now it’s so much easier to play online with anyone, and it feels like a complete RPG. It used to be a simple, D&D-inspired game night option, but now it’s a full-blown online co-op experience that’s super easy to pick up and enjoy.
