Now, the top sci-fi show of 2025 is drawing inspiration from the popular HBO adaptation, tackling similar themes. However, it’s not a direct copy; the show cleverly subverts one key element of The Last of Us‘s narrative.

It’s a seriously intense horror thriller from 2016, directed by Fede Álvarez. It stars Stephen Lang as Norman Nordstrom – he’s this blind veteran, wounded in the Gulf War, and a group of young thieves break into his house thinking they’ve found an easy target. Boy, are they wrong! He quickly turns the tables and basically hunts them down inside his own home. It’s a wild ride!

Prime Video has some excellent sci-fi movies, but they aren’t always easy to find. Sometimes the previews and descriptions are misleading, and you end up watching something different than you expected. However, these seven sci-fi films are definitely worth checking out – they prove Prime Video has some hidden gems!

The new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba movie, Infinity Castle, begins a three-part finale with the first major battle between the Demon Slayers and Muzan Kibutsuji’s remaining demons. This installment puts Zenitsu in the spotlight as he confronts a powerful new Upper Rank demon with a surprisingly personal connection. A recent report from Fightful Select indicates that Anna Jay’s contract with AEW is nearing its expiration.
