Okay, if you haven’t been reading the current Batman comic by Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez – seriously, you’re missing out, it’s fantastic – there’s this really interesting story unfolding. They introduced a new character, Dr. Annika Zeller, who works at Arkham Towers. But she’s quickly become central to everything, because of this amazing new psychiatric treatment she developed called the Crown of Storms. It’s powerful stuff, and it’s made her a target for some seriously dangerous people. We’re even seeing one of Batman’s classic enemies experiencing the effects of the Crown, and it feels like things are about to change in a big way.

Getting the actors right for the upcoming Mistborn adaptation is crucial. Luckily, Brandon Sanderson is involved creatively, so it’s likely fans will be pleased. While using lesser-known actors could be a good choice, here’s my dream cast with established stars.

February is shaping up to be another difficult month for new manga series. It looks like Shonen Jump+ is ending The Bateren Tales by Yu Miki, a promising but lesser-known series that began in October and has released 11 chapters. The author announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the manga will pause before starting its final story arc.

According to Variety, the movie Practical Magic will now be released on September 11, 2026. This change impacts the DC Universe schedule, as Practical Magic is taking the place of the previously planned Clayface movie. Clayface was originally set to come out on September 11th, but it’s now being moved to October 23rd. While a release date change is usually unwelcome, the new October date is actually a better fit for the Clayface film than its original September premiere.
